August 27, 2023A great place to shop for all your nerdy needs, as well as a great place to hang out. With weekly club activities in the evenings for a variety of games and age ranges. Things on the shelves aren't necessarily the entire range of stock, as the friendly and knowledgeable staff can most likely order more of the items for you personally and hold it back until your next visit (or when you can afford it) using their "pulls" system. As well as great customer service, the staff are all fans of many of the things in there (though there are some who specialise more in your favourite game/comic/pop culture interest than others) and they're quite happy to geek out, debate, or just have a chat. Although a bit more pricey than say, online retailers, they stay below RRP and you can't put a price on a nice, safe, friendly atmosphere with like-minded people.

August 27, 2018Good range and quality of items. Sells everything from comic books to Warhammer. Furthermore, they run a gaming club for children on Saturdays (cost £1 but first session free). On top of all this, the staff are friendly and polite. This us one of my favourite shops in Yeovil.

Worth a visit, Wish we had one near us. Well stocked and well priced. They had alot of stuff I have on my list so I could have spent an absolute fortune in there if I wasn't careful! They also had a good rapport with their customer, many of whome seemed to be regulars.

August 6, 2024I absolutely love Atomic! Guys in there are really kind, helpful, patient and Beautiful People. Their recommendations and suggestions are not upselling, almost every suggestion from individual magic the gathering cards to full-blown board games, have absolutely ticked every single box and led to good time. Loads of original stock, from warhammer to memorabilia from nightmare befor Christmas to Japanese drinks and sweets. Atomic Comic, the little thing that makes a big difference!

I really like this place. Great team members and the new store is spacious and a great upgrade to their previous store I'd personally would like to see a bigger range of items. Been popping in a few weeks now and not many new items have been introduced compared to its competitor.

August 27, 2019This place is fantastic! The staff are amazing, I can always find what I want, the clubs they put on are very good, I especially love the youth board games club which I can go to and have fun with others whilst playing board games! 10/10 I have recommended it to so many friends!

Only small thing would be the couple of times I've been there, the very friendly staff are talking with people coming in and having general chats which can make them hard to approach as a customer. But once you can talk to the staff, they are very friendly and accommodating.

August 27, 2019Brilliant shop with friendly, knowledgable staff, a vast array of products with mainstream hits and niche gems and a wonderful new Japanese capsule machine. I absolutely love seeing the new collections of figures and keychains from Japan. Their new location is fantastic, with plenty of floor space and a new bright layout. They have always been happy to order in special items as well, all you need to do is ask. Thank you so much to the staff for their expertise and hard work!
