Staff are real friendly, store's got a wide selection and the atmosphere is great. I've asked for recommendations for good comics to try out and everytime I've been recommended stuff I love and kept on reading.

August 27, 2023Ah the geek shall inherit the Earth! Really well stocked with board games, RPG’s, 40K and other TT games together with comics, graphic novels and funky collectibles. This is a great shop in which to lose an hour! Set amidst the post apocalyptic landscape that is this end of Yeovil, Atomic Comics and Games is a bright spot and a valued venue for the local gaming community. Staff always friendly and helpful.

August 27, 2022Great comic and gaming shop. Full to the brim of games, fan items, comics, games & retro games, war gaming items and all sorts! Also has a gaming room upstairs where you van try out some games, whether warhammer or dungeons and dragons! Also sells some snacks and drinks for when you are playing. Great staff too, very helpful and knowledgeable!

August 27, 2023An amazing Aladdin's cave of true geeky wonders. From the dizzying array of board/ card games to more specific tabletop gaming, comics and pretty much everything geeky, not to mention a cavity inducing array of hard to find, American candy and drinks. The guys who own/ run it, are friendly, knowledgeable and will help you get what you need, even if they don't currently have what you're looking for in stock.

November 27, 2023A fantastic hidden gem of a shop in Yeovil. A great curated board game selection as well as all the other good things (giant Mario Universe plushie anyone?). Knowledgeable staff and apparently games nights ago go. Worth navigating the extensive road/pavent works (of August 22) for!

August 27, 2022A great place to shop for all your nerdy needs, as well as a great place to hang out. With weekly club activities in the evenings for a variety of games and age ranges. Things on the shelves aren't necessarily the entire range of stock, as the friendly and knowledgeable staff can most likely order more of the items for you personally and hold it back until your next visit (or when you can afford it) using their "pulls" system. As well as great customer service, the staff are all fans of many of the things in there (though there are some who specialise more in your favourite game/comic/pop culture interest than others) and they're quite happy to geek out, debate, or just have a chat. Although a bit more pricey than say, online retailers, they stay below RRP and you can't put a price on a nice, safe, friendly atmosphere with like-minded people.

I really like this place. Great team members and the new store is spacious and a great upgrade to their previous store I'd personally would like to see a bigger range of items. Been popping in a few weeks now and not many new items have been introduced compared to its competitor.

August 13, 2024This place is fantastic! The staff are amazing, I can always find what I want, the clubs they put on are very good, I especially love the youth board games club which I can go to and have fun with others whilst playing board games! 10/10 I have recommended it to so many friends!
